I have this love of apartments. Well decorated ones. And most of my favorites are in NYC.

I can only admire them while I don’t have an apartment of my own, but there are lots of ideas (decoration and placement) that you can pull from these beauties and use in your own space!

Well, as you can see from above, we visited Mystic Seaport. They did have a museum (check out their website to plan your visit : http://www.mysticseaport.org/ ) but we did not go in it because it was a little pricey and just not that high up on our list of “must-do”.

Walnut Parsley Pesto

If you have only ever had basil pesto (one of THE most delicious things on earth), then you’re in for a BIG treat!

I liked basil pesto so much, when my mom mentioned trying a parsley pesto, I was like, “There’s no comparison!”.

And that’s kind of true. They taste different. But both are green, and healthy, and oily, and cheesy, and both are extremely delicious!

When I was around 8, my sister and I participated in our homeschool group art class. I was really horrible back then at art (I used a WHOLE tube of watercolor paint on one piece of paper–my sister was furious), at least it got my creativity working around art.
