I’m here to tell you you don’t have to travel to NYC to get a Magnolia cupcake. (Of course, it probably would be fun to do) but you can enjoy these right from home, anytime.
You can be the life of the party when you take these to a friend’s house and suddenly everyone will be wondering about the fabulous cook “you’ve become”. (although, I must admit,….this hasn’t happened to me).
You can make these the regular “vanilla-vanilla”, as they call it, vanilla cupcake and vanilla frosting, or, as I like to do, you can make “vanilla-vanilla-orange”.
In the frosting, I substitute one teaspoon of orange extract for one of the vanilla one’s, and you have delightful creamsicle cupcakes.
