Here’s to a delicious St. Patrick’s Day meal!

I always tell myself I’m not one to ‘celebrate’ holidays other than Christmas, Easter, etc. but then I always get caught up in all the Irish celebration and end up wearing green and practicing my put-on accent 🙂

I could totally pass for Irish–green eyes, wavy medium-brown hair, freckles, even my name : Megan (well, the origin is Welsh but Megan is a very Irish name–right?).

As far as I know, we’re not Irish–traced on my Mom’s side, we’re mostly Italian, with some Native American…but a couple of my siblings have red hair, which comes from my Dad’s (untraced) side of the family.

I’ve told my Mom we must be Irish somewhere, since I am so interested in Irish; the music especially, but the accents too, and I’d love to visit Ireland someday.

Anyway, enjoy some Irish food whether you’re Irish or not 🙂
